Ben and Holly Aquilina  - (Holly  being  one of the founders of weddinglistgiving.com - see organisations section) have also recently raised more than £1000 from their wedding on the 8/07/06 by asking their guests to donate to Planttreesaveplanet.com through weddinglistgiving.com  - for which we are delighted and very grateful - a big thank you to all the guests who donated .

"Ben and I are actually asking those who may wish to give us something on the day, to instead make a donation to a charity called 'Plant TreeSavePlanet' as we really don't need anything bar a couple of items.

The charity is run by a friend and does really good things, helping to sustain small communities in developing  world countries, by enabling them to set up tree nurseries - so a dual whammy of supporting people who need a sustainable income source and the extra environmental benefits of re-forestation. It would make us a lot happier to think that our wedding had helped to sustain a small community somewhere and had made the world a little greener, rather than having our cupboards full of unused kitchenware."
