www.planttreesaveplanet.com would like to encourage 'environmental consciousness' within businesses and consider donating to balance out the energy they use, whether it be heating, lighting or running machinery and operating vehicles
Here are some things businesses could consider with their other energy saving workplace policies;
- Encourage the work force to get behind fund raising to help www.planttreesaveplanet.com raise funds for existing and new projects
- Planting trees in your own workplace grounds or surrounding communities
- Corporate sponsorship by donating an annual amount towards our existing and new projects.
We are particularly keen to work with busineses to find creative ways to promote www.planttreesaveplanet.com to environmentally minded customers thus promoting the business as one that cares about our world and environment.
We'd also be interested in hearing from any business on other ideas for collaboration which support our aims as has already worked with schools.

| Did You know:
- The world's rarest trees are endemics of remote islands, some known only from single wild specimens, such as the St Helena Olive. Britain's own endemic trees include Sorbus bristoliensis which only grows naturally in the Avon Gorge.
- The height above sea-level at which trees cannot grow is called the tree line. This changes with latitude and in the Alps is approximately 7000ft, whilst in North Wales it is 1820ft.
- It takes approximately 2 tonnes of timber to make 1 tonne of paper. The calorific value of 2 tonnes of timber is the same as 1 tonne of coal.
